True story... Generals 2 was in alpha when the developers started engaging their community and debating the ins and outs of their designs. Outcome - cancelled game that was "clearly not going to meet the expectations of their fans." Imagine hating on a team so bad that they cancel the very thing you care about so much you are spitting hot fire and feeling all good about yourself. Developers should share as little as possible with us. Actions speak louder, and Bungie has done a pretty good job of acting on feedback.

  • No, they should share more and or do WAY BETTER QA (Quality Assurance) Testing from more than just people who will do nothing but give a thumbs up for everything. They cancelled their game for one reason, and one reason only, and it wasn't because of the community not liking what they had. It was because they didn't do a well enough job designing the game. ANY game can be made "GOOD" if you've got the right ideas and the right people working on it.
