The Cryptarch used to level up at 2400 points- now it is 3000. There is your missing 600.

That's what I assumed, that they raised the Cryptarchs Rep level to 3000 to coinside with the other newer factions being at 3000 as well. This combined with lower reputation gained from decrying engrams = more grind. Wonder if they will raise the other older factions also?

Yeah- leveling won't be as quick anymore. I bet they do put everything to 3000 (once you hit Rank 2). Bonus-the new patrols take like 15 mins to complete and pay motes like a mutha'!

Havn't ran any new patrols but I noticed in crucible, turning in bounties, etc... There was like +3 Coins or Motes dropping all the time.

And both the crucible and strikes have a new feature that bumps up your rewards the longer you play continuosly (sp?). So don't skip the postgame carnage screen- just keep it rollin".
