i dont know i dont have the app and it would be better in the game anyway, anything more that i need to go outside the game for is a problem of accessibility for more people than just me

But your doing it anyway by visiting the forums, and using whatever means you use to find groups, so its actually a really usefull app if you have a smart phone, switching out vault items, checking advisors, emblems, shaders, easier access to the forums etc. Makes life a hell of a lot easier

while this may be true if its built into the game as a means to apease collectors whould a check mark system be so bad? and these forums are outside of the game because there is no purpose for them to be in the game to begin with hence this sites main existence, bungie could just as easily make all the patch notes and news in game in the tower for people to read in game

I agree it would all be nice in game. Especially grimoire, i love the hidden lore. But that said i feel like the app is an extenssion of the game, like i just finish up a game then fire up the app, check some stats. Move some gear around, check out new forum posts and chime in etc. It feels like im still playing the game but doing all the social guardian stuff away from all the action
