    Not true, many papers have been written on the topic, as well as many classical works of literature have documented that only certain occasions elicit the rule of a comma (that's what it's called, you'll learn) after the word "and". When you move past grade school, and if you make it into college, you'll discover such things. Again, you're clearly out of your depth. Edit: You understand a struggle, but it is definitely yours alone in this case.
