Nolanbot sounds awful!
This comparison featured on Gamesradar+ has made up my mind that the Nolanbot is bloody awful!
Dinklebot FTW!

1 ReplyWe've spent a year getting accustomed to Dinklebot, so naturally Nolan will sound a bit odd for a while. That said, I like Nolanbot. I think North is going to prove a much better choice moving forward, provided Bungie can write interesting dialogue.

5 RepliesWhen I first heard how Nolan said "we've awoken the hive" I literally said what the hell was that??!!! This bot is the most unenthused bored with what's happening sounding voice I've ever heard. I would rather have R2D2 noises over this travesty.

Apathy: 9/10/2015 6:51:10 PMI always really liked Peter Dinklage's ghost.. i know there were a lot of Dinklage haters before, but I always really liked him as the ghost.. now Nolan North is "ok".. if he had been first I think I'd like it "ok".. but having come in after Dinklage, I really can't stand the ghost any more.. all the really great Ghost lines ("can't we just stay here with all the murderous robots?" or "Ohh, we SLAYED a gatelord!"... etc... ) are just not as good. The voice acting in this game is SO good, it's one of the things that really made me "get in to" this game.. Like I said, I never understood the Dinklage hate before, and now it's hilarious to see all the people saying they miss him as the Ghost now..

The problem with Ghost never was Peter Dinklage, it was a sorry script and a completely weightless story being experienced by a wet-mop-protagonist (and I struggle to call our "Guardians" that) surrounded by bland and disinteresting characters. North is a step down from Dinklage in the voice and delivery department, which really does a number on the story.

2 RepliesI actually like the new ghost voice the way some of the lines were delivered showed more excitement and emotions compaired to dinklebot. The only reason why everybody what the old voice back is because everybody is use to the old voice and its in human nature to not accept change. Nolanbot keep up the good work

i miss the sarcasticness of dinkle. and he sounded more robot than nolan north's voice does. they shoulda put that robo filter over his voice. or if they did...more robo voice

1 ReplyIf you look on your left, folks, you can see OP. OP is only found locally, but is really quite famous. It's scientific name is Edgyus Teenus and is colloquially known as fgt. Don't get too close, or OP will start throwing second grade level insults and start bashing your mom! What a sight! Here on bnet the OP is fairly common, so be careful out on your own!

The scary part is Bungie thought this voice over was good enough to make it in to the game.

I thought Dinklebot nailed it all apart from [b]"A CELL!!!! [u]FROM THE PRISON OF ELDERS!!!!!!"[/u][/b] Other than that, I thought he nailed the right amount of robotic neutrality, with a few scattered inflections here and there to maintain a little personality. Twinklebot is far too chirpy :(

Agreed. Dinklebot gives more of a serious yet mysterious sound... Nolan sounds like an over excited retard.
