Northbot is much more inquisitive. Feels like an actual companion. (reminds me of Guilty Spark)
Dinklebot came across as cynical "been here done that" -when he hasn't-, and often just out right board.
Now, some lines under Dinkleage's spin were better imo, but overall I'd say Nolan North did some pretty good work, very refreshing.

I thought it was the same voice that did guilty spark. I recently found out that was a male. I prefer dinklage

I totally agree. I like the more softly spoken Nolatron. Sounds like a proper little robot companion ^_^

Well said.

I think people are too used to Dinklebot to really expect this difference in tone and voice acting. I say, let's wait until doing full stories.

Edited by FrostedSaber: 9/11/2015 12:50:04 AMIt's true, Nolan North has a lot working against him here. A whole year's worth of history. Peter Dinklage has a leading man attitude and charisma (even when he's sounding bored) that we've grown used to. He made Ghost is own cynical, sarcastic character. And Destiny is a really repetitive game to boot. I imagine now most people aren't going back and replaying the story mode from start to finish -- just odd missions here and there. So we're only getting small, irksome doses of North's rendition. It's a bit of a tough situation he is in, but he's a professional and I'm sure he'll win us over in the months to come.

You liking nolanbot is like you liking a squeakers voice
-
Far from really, his voice is much more mature than that of a squeaker. Unless you somehow equate squeakers to any mature human being with higher vocal tones. I've met a few people at work who've got a higher pitch than North's acting as Ghost.
