Patch 2.0 utter disgust
Yet again, we here in the UK are at the hands of the American time zone.
Why the cluster -blam!-, do I have to wait until 17:00 to be able to test out this new update? Not good enough. Trials of Osiris is the same, it's not good enough.
This is my one thing about this game that -blam!-s me right off. Utter shambles you lot are. Any other game out there can release a patch update for when the player switches the game on, but you can't.
For each time you do this to us, I'll complain and hopefully one day it'll eventually get through to you. (More than likely won't) properly furious at you, Bungie.

I get why you're mad (I'm in the UK too) but I can't be myself. It's an American company why should they not operate by their time if it were anywhere else I would expect them to operate by their time zone also.

Most has a life outside of the game believe it or not. If they get to work at 8-9 and stay till 6 or later, they are working like everyone else. Why should they have to wake up crazy early to make you happy?

26 RepliesA couple things, and this is coming from a gamer. I'm not a Bungie employee, just a gamer and a forum member. What exactly are you complaining about? Theoretically (not including XBL/PSN system push schedules and slow Internet connections) we all get access to the content at the same moment in our respective time zones. Try to keep your feedback civil and clear. You're fee to voice your opinion but when you do so with belligerence and name calling, you're flirting with disrespect.

They released the patch 2.0 a week before the TTK. So you have TTK pre installed and ready to go on the official release day. They are simply letting people try out some of the new content this week. No need to be salty against Bungie on this occasion as they have got this spot on IMO.

2 RepliesI'm in america. I'm playing now. I have to go to work in 1 hour. Patch hasn't gone live yet. So now I have to wait 9 more hours to play with new updates. That's 10 pm for me. Meanwhile patch comes within next few hours. Am I complaining? No. It's not that big of a deal. It is a game .

1 ReplyThe company is based in America, now tell me why the hell they would scale the update to [u]your[/u] timezone? We get it at the same time but at the same time it isn't the same time because of the timezones. Blame planet Earth and it's spherical form, not bungie.

6 RepliesWe're all getting the patch at the same time, just different hours according to timezones. I understand your frustration, but what do you want them to do? Hold the patch back till a time that's agreeable to you? Bungie works in an american timezone, I don't think that they wanna be uploading a patch during the wee hours of the morning.

The game is based out of the U.S. There is no fair release time when its worldwide. How is this so hard to understand?
