All I've heard is suros,or a form of AR. People still are clinging to their blink/shotgun nonsense,and a select few are still pissing people off with Thorn. I went an entire match where I was the only person using something other than an AR.

Sorry to dissapoint you but Thorn is still on the map! If you can double tap an enemy in 1.0 ypu sure can triple tap someone in 2.0 :)
