I just don't understand what's up with using thunderlord to change elements? Its called THUNDERLORD
English
-
Thunder -"street names for heroin" -"a deep prolonged loud noise" -"move fast, noisily, and heavy" It's not exclusive to lightning or electricity/arc. It's just a powerful boom (or high), so it doesn't have to be "voidlord" and "flamelord" it can all keep it's original name.

Well yeah sure if we want to be all technical about it. But cmon, its obvious the gun was named that for that direct purpose. Thunder and lightning(rounds). Gun has electricity running through it. Arc element. It was directly made for its element more then any other gun in the game. If you asked someone who has never played destiny, what element "thunderlord" is? 10/10 times they choose arc
-
If it helps lighting on Venus comes down as red arc (red lightning basically)
-
Guess I'm missing what your point is? Lightning in real life is typically yellow...
-
Sorry, I should've been more clear. The color of lightning changes with the atmospheric composition of the planet that it originated on. To make a long story short different planets with different atmospheric compositions have different color lightning. So a Thunderlord (if we wanted to get technical) could have another arc that wasnt just blue (if they really wanted to go there). Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it or anything just adding my 2 cents
-
Oh well yeah. But I didn't say anything about thunderlord being blue or the arc element being blue. Thunderlord could be different colors but that's different from being solar or void
-
They could change it's name. Problem solved.
-
Yeah but that would be kinda of ridiculous lol. Like really. Just change an exotics name no big deal lol
-
I dunno... That's the only thing I'm uncertain on here.
