He's a warlock. It is a [u]warlock[/u] trait to become obsessed with the darkness. (Thanks osiris). It's speculated that he was Pujari, but changed his name to Dredgen Yor so he would not be remembered as how he once was. Also, the thorn bounty is easiest for voidwalker warlocks, and X[u]YOR[/u] is a wizard(those hive things that shoot balls of void light out of their hands, kinda like a voidwalker)

And what about his cloak? He's a hunter. I know that warlocks want a piece of the lore but you're stretching it at best. And because Xyor is a wizard that makes him a warlock? Please.

How about that the grimoire shows a warlock wielding thorn? And yes, only warlocks become corrupted by darkness because warlocks are the only class that studies the light and some go to study the darkness(osiris starts this.) Pujari (the warlock that is speculated to have become Dredgen Yor) has a vision where he is told that he is a creature of darkness, and then he guts cut by a [u]thorn[/u] and bleeds light. This cut is on his left hand(the warlock on the grimoire is holding thorn in his left hand). After this vision, he still had the cut from the [u]thorn[/u]. Old warlocks had cloaks :p.

The difference is that the gear isnt named after hunters it just mentions them in the description. Name one time a piece of gear is named after a specific guardian of a different class.
