Just today. A few days ago I did vog expecting nothing. I was pretty much doing it to fully upgrade my ascended Hezen lords helmet (I am a fellow warlock) to get to level 34. I've always wanted the vex mythoclast but I had pretty much given up on getting it. We had done the whole raid except atheon. We tried it a lot but this one guy didn't know how to do oracles and he kept being ported. Eventually we gave up. I got my materials and hit 34. Today I started vog again with a new group at the atheon checkpoint with no hopes of getting anything but a sparrow and maybe some shards or energy. Then I left without even looking at the rewards on the bottom. I went to the tower cashed in my shards for motes of light. (Xur) I looked at my inventory and found I got the vex. Sorry for the long post.

No, that is awesome, had similar experience but with The Last Word, I honestly don't even remember what I did to get it. It was a long day of raids, strikes, and a nightfall. I went to the Tower, as I was collecting stuff at post master, going to Cryptarch, I cashed in my stuff. While I was dismantling some useless rares and there it was just sitting there. :)
