Their system is going to scan the vault and characters to check your level. I would assume this same scan or another like it will be used to check which exotics you own. I wouldn't dismantle anything until Tuesday.

What I was asking is if I were to, or have, dismanted an exotic before 2.0 hit would I already have the blue prin or have to re-aquire it

Only if Bungie kept record of exotics gained by an account. If not then no, a scan will check what you own and that will be what you have access to.

Yeah, I can see that for armors, weapons might be different. Either way, at least we will have legacy engrams from Xur.
