The way I understood it is if you have the exotics in your vault/inventory after the blueprints drop on Tuesday, that they will be saved and you can pick them up at anytime. However, exotics that you had and deleted will not contribute to the blueprints.
Edit: This is just my understanding from the first Twitch reveal. I could be completely wrong, but with the doubled vault space, I am just going to keep mine anyway.

This is pre-update. Like, I have gotten void fang vestments before, will I have access to those when the new up date comes?

I don't think so to be completely honest. I think they need to be in your inventory/vault when they do the "scan" of your exotics, but, again, I am not 100% certain.

That's what I am afraid of. I can somewhat understand if it is that way for armor, but not weapons. If it is then oh well, I still have the legacy engrams coming lol.
