Don't really trust that since they keep saying not to delete anything....this is why I wish one of the devs or community managers would answer.

I added a better example of what I am talking about. Basically, what I am asking is if I were to delete or had deleted an exotic from 1.0 would I be able to re-obtain when 2.0 hits?

They're saying that because they're going to boost you to a certain level based on your weapons and armor in your inventory and vault.
