[b]several mechs are destroyed and some open fire on the gunships

One of the two gunships is hit and goes down in a controlled crash, hitting a hill nearby. The other gunship unloads it's payload of ATG missiles, all the while firing it's cannon, raining spent shells down on the dusty fields soon to be stained with blood.

[b]the mech falls to the ground but not before releasing a salvo of rockets [/b]

The gunship pops chafe and takes evasive maneuvers, using its cannon to shoot the missiles from the air. Unfortunately for them, one gets through and hits one of the engines. With the loss of thrust the gunship is forced to set down. The soldiers inside deploy and link up with the survivors of the other crash. They radio in their position and request support.

[b]a mech lands onward them and opens fire[/b]

It cuts down the point man, but the rest of the soldiers quickly open fire, assault rifles, LMGs, and even rockets are leveled at the mech.

[b]the mech collapses and the pilot climbs out reveling it to be a woman in a black combat skin with red hair and glowing green eyes[/b]

The Ukrainians, feeling magnanimous and wanting to know who the hell was attacking called for her surrender. "Do not move, hands behind your head, interlock your fingers." They began to circle her as a soldier went to restrain her.

[b]she draws a pistol and shoots herself in the head[/b]

They still investigate the mech, finding nothing of use they set a charge and blow the sucker sky high. Another pair of gunships arrives and they clamber aboard and set off towards the base.

It shows up on radar and the base tracks its movements, the two gunships also take note. If it closes in they'll fire their air to air missiles.
