Im going to get into Trading at some point, but I flat out refuse to get involved in the slave trade. The only time you'll catch me selling slaves is if I just blew up a wanted slave trader. I couldnt leave em to die in space, I'll sell them to a legitimate trader. I get my bounty, a bit of extra on top, and the mild satisfaction of knowing that the innocents who were caught up in my crossfire still have the chance to earn their freedom.

Well, most slaves in the universe of elite dangerous sell themselves into it to pay off a debt, and then they earn their way out.so it's not really a noble dees as if they ever want to go home they will still have a debt to pay.

Better to have the chance to pay it off and earn freedom than to die a particularly slow and nasty death in space. Also, you have to wonder how those debts were accrued. Back in Roman times, it wasnt unheard of for the Romans to squeeze every last bit of money out of some of their (usually freshly conquered) subjects, to the point that eventually they had nothing to give but themselves. Not as bad as the fire service scam though. That was -blam!-ed up LOL
