Are Non Thorn and TLW users better?
It's a simply question..
I feel like a significant portion of Thorn and TLW users are not as skilled. I watch several streams of "top players" and there is a common theme. Some are good, some are not.
Blink, Thorn, TLW, Arc and Solor grenades.
Now, I'm not hating. It works. I personally play Gunslinger. With HSP and Tripmine
What I have noticed is that the skill it takes to use Thorn and TLW is so little. So I can't wait to see what all these players are going to do after the weapons patch. I think the weapons patch is going to deepen the skill curve. And I can't wait for that.
*I just want to throw this out there too. I think weapons like Thorn and TLW make you rusty and not as sharp. You should see the beating I hand Thorn and TLW players. Reguarly.
AFTER DISCUSSING SEVERAL THINGS WITH ALL OF YOU. I'VE BEEN USING MY MULTITOOL. I EVEN NOTICED MY AIM WAS OFF AFTER USING MY HSP. NOT TERRIBLY, BUT I FOUND MY RYTHM.

2 RepliesI agree. Just finished a match with guys using TLW and Thorn. Annihilated them. All I used was Suros Regime and pretty much nothing else. ARs are again kings of the Crucible! If you disagree, go try using different weapons for once. Maybe it's not too late to care about your dropping K/D. (talking about the thorn/last word users)

2 RepliesI was a heavy hand cannon user when that was the meta and liked it however now in rocking the Mida and have been absolutely dominating with it (even more so than using TLW pre patch), honestly never thought the hand cannons needed a nerf, all the other weapons needed a buff to be on level with them.

My tgorn is still very good. Only those dependent on mark of the devourer were effected. Guess thats the one with no skill? Because when i olayed a few matches this morning it was still wrecking for me. Of course its no messanger but it still gets the job done

I have found my grove already with MIDA and average about 25-27 kills in a game of rift so yes, the tables have turned for those filthy hand-cannons (side note, I used Thorn for the first Trials weekend and actually never used it again, its just wrong to have DoT in FPS)

1 ReplyI've found head shots with the thorn are much more difficult than pre nerf. Still 3 body shots to kill is fine with me. Gun requires skill now compared to before where it seemed like every shot was a headshot.

Oh wait sorry the answer is still no after 20 yrs of fps. I don't know about anyone else but my sole purpose today getting on was to enrage everyone who thought the thorn was going to be irrelevent in the crucible... i mean look at my last 10 games or so mostly 2.0 games or 1.9ish except 2 games... the gun is still a beast in my hands sorrrrryyyyyyyyyyy

I think bad juju is good in crucible it's just that in a skilled players hands red death is just so much better it gets overshadowed.
