I thought it was kind of crap. I'll still be picking it up as I want to see where the story goes but I've pretty much no hype for it at all.

Do yourself a favor and just watch gameplay on Twitch or YouTube. I gave 343i a chance even though I knew "Halo" 4 was going to be garbage. I might be moderately interested in the story, but 343i isn't getting my money.

I don't see an issue if he does. Just because it's Halo doesn't mean anyone has to like where 343 is taking it; Bungie's Halo and theirs aren't the exact same thing and pretty much the only reason they still use the franchise name is that Microsoft knows a cash cow when they see one.
