Splatoon is a good game.
The console it is on is not.
Say what you want about Destiny, but it's not on a sinking ship like the Wii U which has done more harm than good for Nintendo. My guess is that we'll see a more powerful Nintendo console by the end of 2016 with an HD Splatoon spinoff.

Games make consoles. As long as the new zelda game comes out on it, it will be a success IMO. Mario kart wii u is probably the best in the series too
