Not sure if OP is mormon or quoting something?
But I know according to The Bible, you should only have 1 wife and it's a pretty big deal if you do anything different (and please forgive me if this statement is wrong, I'm just playing off of stereotypes and common knowledge). I'm sure you share a lot of similarities though, every religion does.

The only reason that Mormons were polygamous was that Joseph Smith was given revelation that they should do that. He struggled with the commandment as well. Later president Wilford Woodruff was given revelation to stop that practice. For more info visit Mormon.org and D&C official declaration 1

No Mormons have multiple wives. Thy are excommunicated for doing so.
