Agreed. A larger pool of weapons and armor to draw on means a larger variety of play styles. In turn, each player could be a little more unique instead of everyone blending into the same look and play styles available at that temporary time.

Indeed. The skill trees in Destiny are rather constricted, so I do feel like exotics define most of the playstyles and builds in Destiny. A larger pool of choices, I feel, would be great.
