Actually I love the reach campaign (except that last level on legendary FFS) and hate ODST. It was just above halo 4, but then we got ODST in MCC instead of reach so now it's my least favourite.

I feel much the same. I never hated ODST at all and I really loved all of the characters in it, but I definitely think it was my least favorite out of Bungie's Halo games, it felt an awful lot to me like the plot didn't get going until the last couple levels of the game, and most of the ones before then kind of bored me, at least the ones focused on the Rookie did. I enjoyed the ones focused on the rest of the squad a whole lot more. What usually wound up happening was I'd be having a blast playing through the levels for Buck, Dutch, Micky and Romeo, and then wind up feeling extremely bored and wondering when the next level for one of the other characters and how long it'd take to get to/trigger it when the focus shifted back to the Rookie.

Why do you hate ODST?

I found the plot dull, the game slow paced and jumping back and forth to be a pretty shit way to tell the story. It works for other games and/or films, just not ODST.

Each to their own opinion I felt differently about the game.
