Red Death has a faster fire rate than The Messenger. The Red Death can Two shot. Hell the Stranger's rifle can two shot. What are you talking about?

And when has the Stranger's Rifle ever two shot anyone? What's that you say? Never? Yes, you're right. The stranger's rifle is great but don't get it twisted.

Guardians have about 200 hitpoints in regular crucible. With the right perk setup strangers rifle will do 34 crit damage per shot which is 102 damage. Two bursts with all crits is 204 damage. Which is a kill. Strangers rifle can two shot in the regular crucible when level advantages aren't enabled. I have been playing this game a lot longer than you have. I know what I'm talking about.

I started at the same time you did most likely, I just stopped because I didn't like Destiny too much. A friend recently got me back into it. Plus it's just basic math.

I have more raw playtime than you. I know more about the game than you do, because you haven't been playing, which is why you think the messenger has a higher fire rate than red death and why you think the strangers rifle isn't a two shot. Both are incorrect at this point in time. I have a bit more knowledge than you when it comes to the crucible, because I've been around for all the reworks, and I've played the game longer than you have.

I think the messenger is better from gameplay of it. I don't think that it has a faster fire rate. Go throughout the internet and find people who think the messenger is better, they are where I got the idea to write this post from.

All the pulse rifles mentioned fall into the high impact, low ROF category, and generally have the ability to two burst. Red Death has a tangibly higher ROF than the Messenger, and does have a lower TTk at medium range. It's just not as stable as the Messenger is over longer distances.

At this point I really don't care anymore. My objective was to make sure the -blam!-ing Red Death was a good weapon, if it is then great. I don't give a -blam!-ing shit about the Stranger's Rifle right now, I've never seen it two shot. But I don't care. So just shut the hell up. And go play your -blam!-ing game that apparently everybody loves to waste their lives on. Btw, I had no one to do raids with is why I have one character. I'd like a good character before moving on to another. Who the -blam!- cares about Grimoire?! Now peace the -blam!- out mother-blam!-ers!
