I had the same with my ps4 controller. It was 2 years old so went and bought a new one.

Did the problem go away? I'm gonna hold of buying a new controller till black Friday. Mine isn't an old controller but it does stick but only while playing destiny

I'm not sure yet haven't been playing much since I got it. It didn't seem to register that o was pressing r2 while sword bearing in crota.

I have these problems with 2 years old one and 2 months old one. Same ones

New controller seems to be fine, although i haven't tried sword bearing on crota which is where I was having problems. It was like it wasn't registering I was pressing r2

I'm still not sure if it has or not. Haven't got to play much since I got the controller.
