Zero exotics should be left behind ... period. I had some fun, but as a collector/completionist I feel like all these hundreds of hours I spent collecting every single exotic weapon were completely wasted hours.

Edited by CitrusTheNile: 8/25/2015 5:46:54 PMThere isn't a whole lot of depth to this game, so punishing people who try to find the good in this game and play to get all the exotics to experience them all doesn't make sense to me. Bungie is simply punishing those who wanted to try to experience this game to the fullest and prep for TTK and now they ruined that.

Edited by SerDannoRanAway: 8/25/2015 5:52:22 PMI agree. Essentially Destiny can be summarized with one word ... GRIND. That is all it is. Grind, grind, grind to get the best loot. Now, however, Bungie has proved that all of those hours are a completely wasted effort. For those of us who ground out hundreds of hours to experience all the best stuff the game has to offer, it sucks to be us. What a complete waste. What possible motivation do I have to grind for the best stuff in year two when I know it will all be rendered irrelevant by year 3? If all destiny is now is a few story missions and strikes and one raid, why would I play and re-play and re-play the exact same content in order to collect stuff that will just be rendered useless in the future???

Nailed it. They need to give us the ability to choose new weapons to maybe replace with old ones. I coming to the realization that this game is not meant to be a main focus game. Rather a game you dabble in here and there, because they simply do not have enough to offer with this game just as you said. All it is a huge grind. If I wanted a gun firing simulator I could have played any other game that allows me to get and shoot different types of guns much faster than in Destiny.
