Bump = Am I the only Guardian that is a firm believer that PVP & PVE changes, patches, buffs and nerfs should be completely separate??? I understand that some may play both, one or the other = but considering I bought this game souly for PVE play and have no interest what so ever in PVP = why should my gaming experience suffer due to a part of the game I don't play...?

Edited by CitrusTheNile: 8/24/2015 4:39:35 PMYou nailed it! I have always wondered this myself when they first patched the weapons. However, I think its easier to program all the weapons the same across both PvE and PvP, which is extremely lazy programing. So to make Bungie's life easier they reduce the enjoyment of the players. When I first started all I did was PvE and I hated when they made the gun changes because they didn't make sense for PvE. For example in patch 2.0 they are going to be nerfing fusion rifles AGAIN because of PvP. -_-

I know right :( Hopefully by year two BUNGIE will resolve not only the constant tweaks and fixes to stuff that truly doesn't matter to me or to the overall gaming experience as a whole, stop catering to PVP players and start working on adding to their game instead of constantly altering existing content... If this is what we have to look forward for the next 9 years my dwindling hope for this game to still be in my gaming rotation will be non existent sadly :( I do like some of the new improvements announced for year 2, but not happy with a few others = mainly to do with the existing Exotics, but even with the understanding that the developers are still working on things to try and make this the best gaming experience they can = enough has to be enough at some point when focus and energy should be applied souly to expanding on the games universe literally = more maps, planets, species, story, etc...

Nerfing range..buffing damage to be in line with shotgun. That's why vex will not be upgraded it would be a beast. They should code then different for pve. But of course they won't.
