The three year cycle only started about a yeah ago. They were still popping out BO1 DLC in 2011 and 2012 lol they were making BO2 atm.

Yeah and the taken King wasn't made at the same time as base game. Also cod has been here for a long time, we started seeing jet packs, in the future cods and so on. Destiny also went through a lot of changes. Cod advanced warfare was the first with jet packs, also the black ops 3 is more like a moba with the supers. Destiny doesn't have wall running, it doesn't have jet packs. . It stole hulk smash, I'm sure the other supers are original at all. The point is destiny isn't the only game to take inspiration from, there are a lot of games that had hulk smash. Aka the hulk games.
