Your math needs help. Yes right now we can have 200 vanguard marks and 200 crucible marks per character. But the limit is 100 vanguard 100 crucible per week per character so 600 total not 1200.
New system as many as you want to earn in any event per week.
I don't know about anyone else. But it was very annoying to run iron banner and have your 100 crucible marks maxed by IB rank 3. So you lost all the marks from ranks 4 and 5.
Not to mention the new exotic quests. Remember a quest complete 25 strikes? If you did all 25 strikes in a week. You lost 50 marks plus 10 for your weekly strike and depending on the daily strikes 40 or 50 more marks a week.
Wallet size being more would only matter if you don't keep an eye on it. Old system 600 a week per account period. New system as many as you play for no matter which character or pve/PvP.

Saying my "math needs help" is insulting. My math is right. Why do you say it needs help? I never said you could earn the max bank every week. I am correct that there are a total of 1200 marks available to bank at one time across 3 characters. I never said unlimited earning per week is bad. In fact, my question wasn't regarding earning potential per week at all. My question as related to bank size. Of course unlimited earning per week is better than limited, that is obvious. Keeping unlimited earning in place, I'd still prefer a larger bank. It does not have to be one or the other. You said "Wallet size being more would only matter if you don't keep an eye on it." Have you been playing from day one? Have you never hit the glimmer max?

Yes beta player yes maxed glimmer and all marks before each dlc. By the math you can only earn 600 per week not 1200 or even 2000. Wallet size never mattered the weekly cap has always sucked IMO. So if you had zero marks vanguard or crucible and wanted a weapon at 150 of either it takes 2 weeks. To buy one of each. Now you can buy anything you want in a single week and all characters count to the same wallet. To me it's a better system. Because I can buy said gun and turn around and get said armor for a different character when you wish. Instead of having to wait tell rest. You want glimmer save silk and banners. 200 each and they stack in the hundreds. Spend the regular glimmer on synthesis. 100 house banners =20000 glimmer.

Wow. You just don't follow do you....It seems like you want to argue with me about something. If that's the case, at least try to argue a counter point to mine. I have said nothing against any of the factual points you've made. Counter to you I've said my math is right, and (to others) that I think a bank cap of 200 is to small. If you want to try an make an argument that doesn't make you look a bit over zealous I recommend making an argument for why the legendary mark bank cap of 200 in TTK is good. Try doing so without talking about how no weekly limit is good, as those are two separate things. Of those two things I have only spoken against one of them. I haven't asked about the system as a whole, only about the bank limit on legendary marks. What reasons do you have against the limit being larger than 200? Also, I'm not wanting for glimmer. I think you misunderstood why I was asking if you had hit the limit. I was just trying to make the point that many people have hit the glimmer cap, and that it matters, as you said (regarding marks) "Wallet size being more would only matter if you don't keep an eye on it." I'm sure most players where still keeping an eye on glimmer when they hit the cap. Unlike marks, save very few items, the glimmer bank allows you to at least purchase a few of any item. I think (but could be wrong) that the Queen's ship might be the only exception. Additionally, glimmer is used on many more things in the game. If the bank limit on glimmer is a problem for players it's reasonable to think the bank limit on legendary marks will be even more so, a problem.

Not argue. I follow perfectly. You said 200 vanguard 200 crucible per character as it stands now. My point is you can't make but 100 of each per week per character which is 600 not 1200. Yes we can bank 400 per character now ever 2 weeks. Not per week. That's why I said bad math. I can easily max my 100 vanguard and crucible per week on all 3 characters by Thursday or Friday. Should we be stuck at 200 no should we be stuck at 25000 glimmer no. My point is I can make more the 1200 marks per week. So as long as nothing cost 200 marks. You can spend all you can possibly earn in a week. Which is way more then 600 per week 2400 a month.

Not sure you do follow me perfectly; once again you are talking about unlimited earning and not about a 200 mark bank cap. You still haven't explained why you think my math was bad. That is unless you were trying to say you, in fact, misunderstood me to say 1200 marks per week; which I did not. Also, you haven't answered my question: "What reasons do you have against the limit being larger than 200?" Again, that is unless your saying "Should we be stuck at 200 no should we be stuck at 25000 glimmer no" is to say you have no reasons against a larger than 200 mark bank limit. You point that you "can make more the 1200 marks per week. So as long as nothing cost 200 marks. You can spend all you can possibly earn in a week. Which is way more then 600 per week 2400 a month." speaks more to the weekly limit being removed being good than anything else. As far as I know nobody, myself included, has argued against that. I guess I'm being difficult now, and I shouldn't be. I just didn't like you saying my math was bad when it isn't. It's made me aggressively defensive. Me taking that attitude isn't always constructive. Once again I will say a system of unlimited weekly earning is clearly better than one of limited weekly earning. I would appreciate if you would acknowledge that my math was not bad, or, could show me exactly how it was bad. I don't feel like you have yet done this.
