*chants softly, as a glowing portal appears in the air*
I have opened the portal to the realm the mythic wolf is trapped in. We must go and liberate him!

*his fur turns blood red, glowing. His eyes are balls of fire. He gets up* Watch out!

A wave of psychic energy blasts the Wolf into a corner while tendrils of dark energy grab onto him and leech the shadow version out

He is afraid, as he knows we can kill him. *a cackling laugh can be heard ahead* This forest is a dangerous place. *walks forward* Be careful *a colossal beast erupts through the undergrowth. A heap of raw flesh and teeth. Claws spring from its hands* Quick! Kill it! *summons a fireball, which deflects harmlessly off it.*

Stay close. *we push through the undergrowth, and observe a camp of sorts. Except it was deserted apart from a central fire, with rows and rows of people around it* What is in that fire? *the people were twisted, sickly horrors and the ones closest to the fire appeared to be channeling energy into it. Only to die and be replaced by someone in the row behind* We've got to move! *a deafening roar sounded from the fire* Too late! They've completed the summoning. We must fight!

*She sends a beam of light into the fire*

No! *the light is absorbed by the fire, which turns black. The fire shoots up, an enormous column of flame, before assuming a humanoid form* It is a leech! It will absorb your power and grow stronger. Do you see that crystal in its chest? That is the energy source. It must be destroyed! *Creates fireball and hurls it at the creature* Damn! I missed.

*She sends a beam of light at the crystal and it cracks* Why didn't it break?

It has some sort of protection spell on it.

*we walk on* *we stop* *A huge castle rises up before us. Black rock, with glowing blood pouring down the sides. A colossal door rises up in front of us. A carving of the shadow wolf upon it.* Here it is. I can feel the shadow's presence.

I feel it too. This won't be easy. Even if I had my full strength I don't think I would be able to subdue it while it's in its own realm. But we have to try.

Who says we have to fight it in its own realm? I intend to teleport us all to my realm, where we will have the advantage. *blasts down the door* Let's go *walks into castle.
