Not true I could prove with my data alone that Strange Coins and Legendary Engrams are the highest drop rate at over 60%. I've done it on two characters since about launch and 60% of the time it's those two.

And by the way I don't know if you know how statistics work but it's not impossible for the other 3-4 items to have a 40% chance to do it's called weighting. It's actually very possible and very probable that's the case.

Agreed. No way are exotics the most common. I've done tons of nightfalls and gotten one exotic EVER. Legendary weapons are by far the most common.

If you have data from an analysis of yours show me, because one or two individual items cant have 60% themselves, that would mean having small chances for all the other items meaning doing the nightfall would be a completely obsolete end game activity just getting those. and weighting has nothing to do with this, this all about Randomly Generated Numbers that correspond to a value that is each loot drop. think before you rant kid, things have changed since launch, its been A YEAR.

ok I will explain it all to you, starting with the forum post. I posted an inquiry asking for nightfall rewards. I recorded each nightfall reward for each persons character. I did this for around 32-35 people and wrote each on paper neatly for organization. things like an exotic weapon, legendary engram and strange coins. I then took a second piece of paper and put each of the sections on it which I then tallied each of the things detailed from the forum onto the notes. I then took the tallies and counted them in order and detailed each amount of each section. I originally have 76 of these but got some more to cap it at 100. I then divided each of the numbers by 100 and got the decimal version that I then turned into percentages. I had to redo all of my work when I added the extra 24 and just went through the original process, which was unneeded but still made it even more accurate. I compared the percentages to make sure they added up to 100%, which they did, then started making this post which took about 1 hour. That good enough for you?
