The Taken King/update 2.0 is going to play host to a bunch of new networking features that Bungie has yet to go into detail on. Stay tuned for those.

It's worse than before

It's still trash. Even the netduma can't fix it. Bungle should be proud of this lag fest buttonslapper.
-
Lag is even worse now after 2.0 so suck my dick. You're an unpaid shill for an incompetent bunch money grubbing faggets.
-
This. That's sad if you don't even get paid.

Edited by Speck311: 8/27/2015 11:48:11 PMUnless the taken king provides dedicated servers I highly doubt it will matter. More garbage code that will just cause more lag while they try so hard to skirt around paying for a solid solution.

Sounds promising, hopefully they will cover some of this in the Twitch next week

I'm not sure if we will, to be honest. Luke Smith said is was all "under the hood" sort of stuff. I'd expect to see it in the patch notes.

Do you know if the geo-filtering of matchmaking by a router would count as a breach of terms and conditions?
-
Yeah, after posting I thought Twitch is probably not the best format for something like that, but it would be good to see an article covering what is being done to combat lag and lag switchers in TTK.
