I was disappointed to hear that any year one weapons are being carried forward. It is nice to have to hunt for brand new weapons. I take that back, I wish that they phased out all exotics from the initial release of the game (Dark Below and House of Wolves stay relevant)... then the first year 2 dlc should phase out Dark Below exotics, and 2nd year 2 dlc phase out House of Wolves. In a game about finding new loot, previous loot shouldn't last more than a year.

  • You're a dumbass. Yes it's w loot game which means there is NO fukking reason to find it if it will be rendered useless in less than a years time. Old stuff being relevant in no way negates the need/desire to find new stuff. GTFO

  • How is there no reason to find it? You used it for that year didn't you? Old stuff being relevant 100% takes away the feeling of progress you are supposed to feel. Every piece of gear you find, you should know that in a year, this thing will be a memory... because I'll have something better.

  • oh and the ps4 exclusive stuff would have to stay relevant for another year so that they would be relevant for one year on xbox one.
