Let's not lie to ourselves... Anyone whose gone 9-0 has probably either used thorn or last word. That or they have people on their team using them.

You know. I know. They know. ;o) Out of 13/14 trips I used thorn 9 times and vision of confluence/messenger. For trials thorn is slightly better than last word cause of the wicked burn time. Showing team mates where they are and stopping that valuable shield charge. That gun was made for trials - sorry to say.

False. My team uses pulse rifles and scout rifles. Totally doable to go 9-0 without them. It's called gun skill

Yeah I've done it also. But be honest. Operative word here "honest" Thorn is hands down the best trials weapon going. That burn is so handy for assists and the regular power without burn is amazing. I have used messenger, vex and vision of c before but none can truly compare to the thorn. Up close its still lethal and can snipe virtually in its current state.
