Exotics are still viable, salty scrub...

Can't believe how many people are upset that they are striving to make vast improvements to the game after it's been released, i personally commend them for it.

Edited by GANTZ: 8/19/2015 1:18:58 PMimprovements are cool but why has it alwasy to be "give something , take something away" with bungie , why cant our efforts from year 1 stay relevent? its not like people won't enjoy the DLC when their old inventory is still good

I think their motivation behind this derives from two problems, the first is that they are trying build a new weapon sandbox that doesn't include perks like field scout, and other absolutely beneficial perks, and I also fear they have run into a limit for inventory/vault space, and they are trying to solve that by incentivizing a rotational inventory. I really wish I could keep all of my year 1 Legendaries too, and I will for as long as I can. Even if they created a system where it would transform your old legendaries into a year 2 configuration but keep it's year 1 name and appearance, I would happy with that, I just want to have my old gear as a symbol, something that only day 1 players were capable of obtaining.

transmog for weapons and armor would be cool
-
Makes the game boring not getting any guns/armor in a loot based game..
-
but how does taking away ones efforts make the game cool ? people would try to collect and obtain new items either way , without the need to make everything else obsolete , especially in a game that doesnt have that much content or item variety like destiny

Not exotics
