I finally got it last night. I'd been waiting for WoC too and that dropped in the same raid : )

Did you do glowhoo and have gun in inventory? Is that true?

Had Glowhoo in my inventory but was wearing Blacksmith. My Eidolon Ally was in the vault in the tower. I have clan mates who got the Crux to drop without having Husk or Eidolon. I wasn't using the Crota emblem either, which is another myth.
