Yeah, just do BL2 because pre sequel is meh

Yes. Or even before. BL2 is my favorite game of all time. If you like FPS RPGs (like Destiny), well developed characters, tons of lore, and an amazing storyline, you'll like Borderlands. Also, the loot system is much better. None of that bullshit Destiny has.
