Spartans. Keeping in mind that Spartans conquered entire alien planets and reclaimed earth from the covenant. Meanwhile guardians can't even protect a single city without the help of a god.

And quite frankly it was one Spartan, Master Chief that helped save Earth, but as for everything else the Spartans and the UNSC failed at keeping the colonies, but I don't know too much of the story past Halo 3, and very little of Halo 4, behind the scenes wise, Spartans of the Infinity could have reconquered

Forgot about the other Spartans like the ones from halo legends, they would be able to turn tides of wars instantaneously

Oh I know the guardians wouldn't win, I just wanted to say what I did say. Master Chief alone could take on quite a few Guardians, he's friggin Chuck Norris in a suit of armor
