Lampoon of what? The people crying about him selling it? I guess you can say that, I tried making it satirical with the poll and all that, I guess people take it the wrong way? I don't know, you tell me, I wasn't serious in anything I said, is that obvious or not?

Maybe learn what satire actually is.
-
the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. synonyms: mockery, ridicule, derision, scorn, caricature

No offense but you don't actually know what satire means do you? Regardless of whether or not it's clear you were joking it doesn't necessarily follow that it was satire.....

Satire: the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. synonyms: mockery, ridicule, derision, scorn, caricature My bad, I thought I was doing something satirical... I guess I wasn't? I should look up different definitions or maybe read this one more carefully. .

Edited by Packis: 8/17/2015 8:11:35 AMAll you're missing is irony since your post was quite convincing of an actual complaint, making it seem more like lampooning. The poll kind of helps since someone who is actually upset wouldn't do that. If you'd have said "This is an outrage! Bungie doesn't care about their fans! How dare they give everyone an oppurtunity to have their hands on the most wanted and most powerful heavy weapon in the game!" The critical minds wouldn't be on your case so much.

Satire post don't require all of those though, the word "or" is there. Regardless of that, why would critical minds be looking at posts with the satire tag anyways?

To make themselves feel smart. :P We all do it sometimes.
