Good ideas, but should make all strikes on highest level (dragon currently), give legendary engrams guaranteed, and guarantee a legendary armor or weapon.

Too much loot for too little effort. Maybe have bosses actually drop engrams at the end of Strikes instead (3 - 4 with a chance of a Legendary), but guaranteed Legendary engrams would effectively ruin the economy and gear progression systems, especially with the way it seems they're laid out in the Taken King.

I would hate the current loot table for mmo style mechanics would be great to have this but to many diehard fps people on destiny

What? Why? These changes wouldn't make strikes harder because the bosses are having their hp pools cut as part of the idea. This would just make it even easier to hit max level, which is already hysterically easy.

Because most people would rather just fire enough bullets at somebody than actually jump through hoops, so you get a bigger carrot to dangle.
