Not even going to try... 50 public events?! Are you freaking kidding? It takes an hour for those stupid things to spawn!
Edit 1: Im at 40/50 Public Events rn, played since day one.
Edit 2: The 50 arent as daunting now, thanks for the help :) much appreciated

Destiny Public events tracker google it. Just be sure to stay til window closes.

Honestly, if you started out in vanilla Destiny and did every public event that's popped up you should have 50, or be reeaaally close. If you do all the daily vanguard bounties with 3 characters you should get around 50 naturally within a couple of weeks.

Go to destiny public event tracker online, it gives the times they drop within like 3 minutes, you can knock them out really fast that way.
