New players who start after this weekend won't have it.
But yeah it's pretty obvious to all intelligent ppl that the reasons for the nerf weren't what we were given.
Its obvious by nerfing it yet keeping it the strongest heavy that the LFG requirement for gally will not drop, if anything it will go the other way and ppl like me who didn't require it, will.

I agree. It will still be the most powerful rocket launcher in the game, only less so. Logic dictates that if a team needed 3 gjallies to get the job done fast, and it will do less dmg w the nerf, then the team will require 4+ gjallies in order to complete the task in the same time frame as before. Further upping the requirement for the gjally.
I'd like to hear Bungie concede that. I really dont mind, its a shame to lose the gjalolsmash option, but it was never ever a necessity...
No it wasn't. But the danger is after a nerf it will be a necessity. Of course if they take the other option and make a comparable or stronger heavy then the cycle continues anyhow. Unless gally is nerfed into the ground so it is no better than other RLs of course

10 internetz for good logic sir. Thats what I said when they announced the nerf.
