The reason being is that they have special perks that aren't associated with instances, such as raids, they were designed to be collected and, as such, are going to be moved on along with the coming of TTK.

Cmon dude. Not making legendaries ascendable is a dumb move. They could brag about their vast arsenal, and people would have way more variety. They just know that someone with fully ascended raid gear would solo run year one raids with their eyes closed and they're too lazy to add a new difficulty to the old raids is all. Then they'd have to add new rewards as well.

Not really, they could easily make it to where you could ascend, but what's the fun in that? I'm never excited when I get a new gun anymore and many others aren't either. Id rather have that excitement again than my legendaries

Think about how really dumb what you just said sounds. I'm not attacking you personally bud. Your only parroting Bungie. I get that. Seriously think about what you just said though and how that makes absolutely zero sense at all.

Look, if you honestly think using the same loadout for ten years straight is fun, then by all means, go ahead and fight for it. I myself, will become bored extremely quickly. This is my personal opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

And that's cool man. I get it. That's bungies opinion too. So then apply it to ALL year one weapons then. Including exotics. Now it makes no sense see? You can argue the "exotics are special" thing all day long but in the end, if you are running Gally or Celestial nighthawk for ten years, this excuse makes zero sense. That was my whole point.

Edited by jlqm0117: 8/16/2015 5:09:01 PMThat's fair, I can see how that would make sense. Personally, I barely use exotics unless I'm leveling them up, so I just view this as a "gotta catch em all" kinda thing. I feel like a adding them to the new maximum would be a good idea only from a collectors aspect
