They had to
1) listen to complaints about not getting it
2) see the exclusivity that it did tend to bring.
3)announce a nerf
4) struggle through a terrible reaction, including people now DEMANDING it for all future content.
I agree with it to
1) reward year 1 players
2) bring a capability of balance
3) increase player moral
4) we gonna need it.
5) there will be something better
Thoughts?

I think it is a reward for year one players. I heard the other day it won't drop after ttk comes out. So it's a way for year one people to stand out a little in the next chapter. I'm good with him selling it. I had one already, now I can buy 2 more and not have to switch it around any more.
