To all those buying the Gjallarhorn..
Congrats! RNG can be mean, I only got the God of War shader a few weeks ago! Don't let these salty people infect you. I got my 1st Gjallarhorn on Crota's End from the Deathsinger, when I was dead for that whole entire encounter.. I didn't "earn" it, your strange coins were earned so these salty guardians can keep quiet..

*UPDATE* nice to see a lot of love from fellow Guardians but it's unfortunate that there's a large amount of Guardians that need to get checked out at the hospital for poisoning because of all the salt inside them..
Thought I'd share that I have 3 Gjallarhorns already, I got my second and third from nightfalls (a week apart funnily enough)
Don't listen to the salt about "it's gonna be nerfed so who cares" as they're only reducing the damage of the wolfpack rounds, and I don't see them reducing it by much, meaning it will still be a beast weapon, but we'll have to wait and see..
Elitists can cry extra salty tears today, they deserve to...

I know people who have 500 plus hours in the game and have done everything there is to do many times over and have not had it drop. Point being singe people have "earned" it but still haven't gotten the drop. I also know some people that got it 40 hours in. Buy that shit who cares

6 RepliesYou earn coins but they are so easy to get anyway. That's why these things should not cost 17 coins. When people say they earn a gun from rng they are right but they are saying it wrong. We don't earn what we got, because it is random. What we earn is the CHANCE at that random drop because we did something, like a raid. Getting something OP because you got coins that are so easy to get is a joke IMO.

3 RepliesThe 12 strange coins I got from the four random awards yesterday helped to ensure that we (sons and I) all got gallys this morning. Anybody know the Genesis of those rewards? I was thinking it was gift from Bungee for us since we have about 30 days of play between us without getting a gally. I'll take it!

4 RepliesAll I can say too everyone buying it is... Make sure you pick up some heavy weapon telemetries from the gunsmith. Really helps level it up. Do a bunch of bounties and use it before you turn them in. Really helps level the thing quickly. Enjoy your new weapon!

Thanks man I've had three 34 characters and done all the raids over and over also the nightfalls and still for some reason I never got ghallahorn even though I've been here since beta.

Nice video and I agree with you. Hahaha I "earned" my 1st Gjallahorn by joining a friend's NF just in time to see him kill Omnigul after soloing the entire thing. I got 0 shots off. He did get NLB though .

4 Replies1500 hours in game and I have gotten 5 gjallahorns. Melted 2 and use the rest. At least try hard can't keep casuals from joining now by posting "must have gjallahorn"

I often go check what xur has Friday mornings before I head out to work, and now that its here on the website, its super easy. So as I'm going through my morning, I think, huh, I wonder what xur has today? Well he just sold the bones of eao so I have every exotic except queenbreakers bow and dregs promise, no point in seeing him I guess. You know maybe, just maybe he's selling gjallarhorn, then at least I'd get to tell all my friends that don't have it to make sure they go see him and finally get it and sure enough he's selling it,, awesome!
