Bungie has never had dedicated servers for their games. Dont expect them ever. As long as the fans line up and buy TTK, Bungie will ignore any expensive fixes.

Halo had dedicated servers because Microsoft provided them free of charge since they were Microsoft owned. Now they are on there own and provide a base connection for all players to connect to, except that the weakest connection dictates how the game plays instead of the strongest.
