yeah i saw its pretty ridiculous, and when the review from the esrb for halo 3 and halo 5 were compared theyre almost identical, the only difference is that halo 3 had the flood and when you killed combat forms theyre limbs would fall off

i read an article and they said that it probably has to do with us being so accustomed to violence in games, besides reach and halo 4 were way more gruesome than halo 3 just with assassinations
