That's what the raid primaries are for. PvE. If exotics had elemental damage you wouldn't use the raid primaries, which defeats the point. I'm not saying they shouldn't have the elemental aspect, but all that would do is make raid primaries irrelevant.

  • I can understand where you are coming from but I think I disagree. The raid primaries had specific perks that related to the raid they went with. It just means that you could use them for that added perk in the raid instead of a primary exotic. Also I think people would still use special and heavy exotics which means they would want to use a raid primary instead of a primary exotic. I think it would give us more options and not make anything irrelevant.
