Hello Nexrai,
I would suggest to download the updates using a wired connection if you haven't already done so. I would also suggest to hit retry a couple times if it keeps on failing to download.

I decided to attempt a wired connection last night when it wasn't working. It's still plugged in with no changes to downloading the update.

Bungie hasn't released a fix for us yet. We are screwed until they do. All their help and recommendations are garbage as they change nothing. I reinstalled destiny, reset everything, cleared cache...etc...and none of it worked. I'm still sitting at the freakin' download screen getting the oyster error.
