Scablands burning
Seen a few posts since the update about the Scablands burning so I went to have a look. Never noticed the burning turrets or beams into the sky from the buildings. Not been on Mars patrol for ages so could just be me being forgetful or is this something new?

Anyone else figure it out? Edit: Seems the smoke is coming from the other side of a door at Firebase Rubicon. Future story mission?

2 RepliesOutside the entrance to the building that houses rockets mcdickface in between him and the tank if you go to the right of the building you can actually just hop inside of the walls. Before I tell you how pls note that you cannot use this at the valaus part as there is an invisible wall. Underneath the right side of the building are 3 giant caltrops all in a small clump. Go and stand right around them and look up. (It's not directly above you) but there is a large rectangular hole that you can jump up into. Niw just explore around and I have tested that armour peircing rounds do work in this area and can be used to shoot the cabal outside of it. Also if you get up on top of the hallway you go into the building with (while remaining in the walls) you can jump up high (may need increased height/bones of eao but I'm not sure) and throw a grenade out down at the cabal as you will be outside the walls. However as you start to fall the invisible walls will pull you back in, so the only way out is where you came in :)

It's been there for a long @$$ time...literally every time I go to Mars I look at them and pretend I blew up the turrets, and then I look at the beams wondering why they stop so high up

Definitely a little tease thrown in by Bungie in reference to The Taken King. Probably nothing big yet, we'll have to wait and see.

13 RepliesI was in the Forgotten shores and saw 3 fallen on pikes, a message on my screen said something about 3 young ? Are near. I could not get a shot at them. This was after the patch. Anyone else see this?

1 ReplyThere can also be smoke viewed from Rubicon Wastes and the are alarm/lights going off on the inside of the Iron Line.
