While I agree it's not the most powerful shotgun, it's not meant to be. Not every exotic is going to be worth using. Thunderlord and Super Good Advice both being in that category. Neither one really provides any advantage over any other machine gun, they take up your exotic choice and both are out classes by BTRD, but no one is asking for buffs. Basically Universal Remote is around as a utility tool. Should you want to use X secondary weapon but not want to give up using a shotgun, you can. Or if you don't want to worry about special ammo for your shotgun, your covered. The same way No Land Beyond was made for utility. Neither were meant to be the best in their class. But if a buff is really needed, replace Crowd Control with Shotpackage to reduce the bullet spread. UR will never be able to make up for the range you lose by replacing your primary with it.

Thunderlord is outclassed by no other machinegun

People have asked for SGA buffs. It is only useful in scenarios were "hits" count as missing (shields, oracles, etc.) Thunderlord is amazing and will out DPS any other machine gun with it's exotic perk (paried w/ field scout.) In addition, it has a hidden perk were enemies may explode on prescision kills. Since field scout has gone away on new machine guns and old legendaries made worthless, its going to be even better. For that reason it really isn't worth comparing them to UR. Also, NLB is getting buffed in 2.0.

Thing is, it's not even good at what it's designed to do. Plus NLB is getting a buff. Not enough to make it op, just more viable.
